Timothy Daniels
Senior Minister

We pride ourselves in saying Timothy Daniels is not only the Senior Minister at Trinity Gardens Church of Christ located in Houston, TX, but he is also an influential leader. His messages of hope and healing have reached across gender, social economic status, ethnic groups, and color lines to help people heal the past, make peace with the present and create a powerful future.

Timothy has gladly served the community and church for over 24 years, having taken the reins of his late father, M. C. Daniels, who also served as Senior Minister. Timothy, just like his father, is blessed with the ability to provide sound biblical answers to sociological ills. Repeatedly he demonstrates how the church is a hospital for sin-sick people and we are all in need of healing.

Every worship service is an amazing and awe-inspiring experience. Here we are encouraged to surrender, lay it all before the altar, and reign victorious because ‘God always takes care of His children.’

Daniels’ tenure of teaching and counseling has positioned him to reach others with humor, warmth, transparency, and strength as he empowers congregants and visitors to continue living the life that God intended them to live.

He along with his wife, Cynthia Daniels is dedicated to building God’s Kingdom one family at a time. Their life is dedicated to living by example and encouraging people to follow Christ. They are kingdom builders whom God has positioned to help people catapult themselves in order that they may turn their lives around.

Timothy Daniels is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Southwestern Christian College and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University. Cynthia Daniels is a graduate of the University of Houston and Prairie View A&M University. Both Timothy and Cynthia are points of light, using the value of education to motivate and inspire youth to aim beyond their wildest dreams and to live out their true potential.

Timothy and Cynthia have been married for over 45 years and are proud parents of three children and grandparents of five grandchildren. Families take a front-row seat at Trinity, and since family is the cornerstone of what we do, the Daniels’ example of faith, courage, love, loss, laughter, hope, healing, and forgiveness, serves as an awakening that God wants to bless and restore families.
